Twenty-five lunchboxes from London-based artists travel to Vienna in a suitcase, returning enriched by 10 kilograms of cultural exchange from the Austrian capital.
This participatory project is part of the Austrian Cultural Forum (ACF London)’s Curatorial Residency Programme in partnership with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. This project was initiated in 2015 and brought dozens of UK and Austrian based artists together with UK curators. This year’s curator in residency, graduate from the Culture, Criticism and Curation Master, Catherine Yuhui Li, is going to travel to Vienna in January 2024 and meet graduates from the Academy to present alongside UK artists at an exhibition in June-July 2024 in London. And the results of this participatory project will be showcased in the gallery space of ACF as part of the exhibition.
